Job Description
We’re in search of an experienced SQL Developer to lead in the development of SQL databases for a wide variety of applications. You should bring experience with data architecture and management to develop and scale SQL databases based on organization’s needs. Moreover, you’ll need to write SQL queries to store, sort, and retrieve a range of data. You should be a quick thinker, highly organized and able to troubleshoot any number of issues that can come up during the day-to-day operations.
What are we looking for in you?
- Perform day-to-day operations (includes monitoring and maintenance, problem investigation and resolution, backup creation and maintenance, database optimization and tuning, etc.).
- Independently analyse and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
- Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no supervision.
- Maintain and improve already existing processes.
- Provide input during requirements analysis.
- Prior experience within a .Net development environment, a plus.
- Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, and a high aptitude for problem solving.
Requirements
- Previous Work Experience: 2-5 plus years of work experience.
- Design stable and reliable SQL Server Databases for custom applications.
- Optimize existing SQL Server Databases.
- SQL Query writing, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions and Data modelling.
- SQL Server - Backup, indexing, optimization and general management.
- SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
- Well experienced in Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.
- Table Partitioning, Stored procedures, triggers and functions expertise.
- Database, ETL - Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS).
- Modifying tables, views, stored procedures.
